After a brief rest and rejuvenation, I gradually am about to return to writing regular articles here. I hope readers here find them useful to living a full, holistic lifestyle. I appreciate your comments, questions, etc. Like most, I welcome your support and encouragement as I provide it to you. Here I am re-posting, with a few changes, my original post of week one– day one of the holistic daily diary. These meditations are designed to been done in the morning, shortly after arising. They can also be done in the evening, just before going to sleep. However, anytime you chose to do them, is useful. Before starting here, with the first day, you may wish to set any kind of goal you may have with regards to living a holistic lifestyle and/or weight management. For example, if you know you are 20, 30 or however many pounds overweight according to your BMI number, for example, you may have a goal to loose a specific number of pounds to get to your best BMI range. I do not recommend you set a time table for this, at least now right now. As you do these meditations, you will discover why I say this. If you want to discuss this, call or contact me. Another great goal is to become happier and more fulfilled in life. Try to think of specific areas if possible. You can meditate on them as well.
Write down your goals, being specific as possble, date them and put them away somewhere. Don’t look at them again until you complete at least 30 days of regularly doing the meditations. If you miss a day, just continue. If you miss more than 2 or 3 days, start over with day one. After the 30 days has been consistently completed, go back and look at your goal. You should feel accomplished!

WEEK ONE: DAY ONE
Look into a mirror. Best would be a full length mirror but any mirror will do. Look into your eyes. Say this to yourself: “you have chosen to listen to others who told you lies in the past. Some of the lies were that you were less than, not quite right, this or that whatever the negative thing was, whatever those things were that felt bad. Perhaps you have told lies to yourself. They were all lies, and on a deep level, you know that. Those people who you listened to were wrong. Now I am going to tell you the truth. The truth is you are a miracle a wonderful creation of the universe that has never been before and never will be again. You are perfect just as you are. Look deep into your eyes and see the beauty, the wisdom, the knowledge, the creativity and all the love there is. You have within you the wisdom of the ages. You contain like a shell of the ocean the sound of the universe. Listen to your sound. See your beauty. Know that you have an answer, a way. This answer, this way, this sound is something that has never been done before and no one else can replicate it. Now it is time. Now is the time for you to do it, to say it, to be it. Stop listening to the lies, where ever they came from. Listen to the truth. Now is the time to listen to the truth.
Now, find a quiet place, relax, and breathe and implant the following into your body, your mind, your infinite spirit:
You have chosen now to love this miracle that you just witnessed standing before you, a unique creature of the universe. You love her/him, you honor and you respect this miracle. You allow, you finally allow it to be whatever it was born to be and to do and to say. You don’t have to think what it is. The answer to this comes to you, if not momentarily it will come to you eventually. You feel it. Deep within, you feel the wonderful satisfying feeling, the best feeling you have ever felt. You are deeply satisfied and happy as you begin this day, your first day to do and say and be whoever whatever it is that you have come to do or say or be. Now go forth and do it. And oh, while doing it, please just take a few minutes to write below what you eat and drink after you ate or drank it and what exercise you chose for the day, if you decide to exercise today.
